FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I own a power meter... Is coaching with power covered? Short answer is YES. The longer answer: coaching with power is a very specific skill set and requires additional time, expertise and expense from the coach AND athlete. Understanding the importance of training with power, you will be given power specific training sessions and there is a learning curve for the athlete which requires you to know your power meter, head unit and tools to upload your training sessions. Your coach is not technical support for your power meter ;-)
What payment options are available? Payment is credit/check card only… CENTRIC accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We have an auto-pay solution that ensures both Coach and Athlete does not have to spend valuable time and resources on bills. You want your coach to be focused on your training and recovery… not being a bill collector ;-)
How does athlete billing work at CENTRIC? We bill for a CALENDAR MONTH IN ADVANCE, if an athlete begins mid-month, the athlete is charged only for half of the month (we do not pro rate by days... we bill in one month or half month increments) so the first bill will include 1.5 months. We charge on the 15th of each month for the the next calendar month of coaching (i.e. January 15th the athlete is charged for February coaching... if you start in mid January than you are charged for half of January & all of February).
Do I get to train with my coach in person? Although most local athletes will do some training with their coach, it is not part of the service you are paying for. When you hire a CENTRIC coach, you are investing in a relationship with mutual accountability and coaching expertise… not a training partner. CENTRIC HOSTS A GROUP RIDES occasionally which is a great opportunity to train with your coach… but we’re not here to keep you company… however fun that may be ;-)
How many coaches does CENTRIC have? One
I want to ensure my coach is not too busy for me… how many athletes does a CENTRIC Coach work with? There is no set number as it depends on the tier distribution of their athlete roster and many other factors. Coaches should know their bandwidth for the work they take on and you should discuss this up front with your coach.
